NEW FFI WEBSITE IS LAUNCHED!
The University of Algarve is pleased to announce the 5th edition of the Master Programme in Marine and Coastal Systems (MaCS; www.macsmaster.com), focused on the study of processes operating within the coastal and marine systems, subject to geological, physical, chemical and biological forcing. MaCS is fully accredited in accordance to Bologna Process, has 2 years of total duration (120 ECTS) and will be lectured in English, starting on September 2018.

These sessions focus on the application of the holistic concept of ONE HEALTH to conserve healthy ecosystems (agricultural soil, sediment of mangroves forests and wetlands), to maintain healthy animals (livestock, shrimp/shellfish, fish), to protect human health long-term (antibiotic resistance, zoonoses, obesity, diabetes, autism, microcephaly and other neural tube defects, cancer, allergies, among others).
