The Development and Knowledge Sociology Working Group
is pleased to announce a fully-funded doctoral/PhD position at the Leibniz Center for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT) in Bremen, Germany.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to visit Plymouth Marine Laboratory (PML) in the UK, for one month prior to the start of the cruise to participate in cruise preparation and planning; to go on the cruise (24th September to 29th October 2018) and help make hydrological, bio-optical and/or ecological observations; and after the cruise to spend approximately one additional month at PML, learning to analyse the results statistically and interpret them.
The European Space Agency is organizing the fifth Advances in SAR Oceanography workshop, SeaSAR 2018, which will be hosted in ESA-ESRIN (Frascati, Italy) from 07 to 10 May 2018. The workshop is part of the #EOScience4Society – Scientific Exploitation Programme element aimed at exploiting data from ESA and operational EO Missions (e.g. Copernicus Sentinels) for science and application development.
According to received requests we have extend the deadline for abstract submission of 7th IEEE/OES Baltic Symposium „Clean and Safe Baltic Sea and Energy Security for the Baltic countries“ until 9 March, 2018.
